What time do the 12K busses leave in the morning? Where are the busses?

Busses leave at 5:30am sharp. Don’t be late because the course has to be cleared by 6:30am in order to start the half marathon. Busses will be located 60 yards in front of the half marathon start line starting at 5:15am. Get boarded and get there, gives you more time to warm up and check out the new 12K start area.

Where is the 12K located?

The 12K is a point to point race that starts in a nondescript location out on the deserted Naval Weapons Station in Concord. it ends at the plaza in Concord.

Where is packet pick up?

Packets can be picked up the day before the event in the plaza right by the half marathon start line, click here. Or they can be mailed for a fee of $20. (Mailing option is no longer available for 2019).

What does the packet consist of?

All registrants will receive a commemorative race day technical running shirt, their bib number along with 4 safety pins, race day instructions, and sponsor items placed in their goodie bag as a way of saying thank you for participating in this event.

How do I exchange a shirt?

If the shirt has remained inside its plastic bag un-opened, we can give an exchange for another size at packet pick up or after the race, however if the shirt has been taken out of the sealed packed and placed on the runners skin, we cannot exchange it as it is no longer able to be worn by another individual.

What time does the race start?

Following the playing of taps, and then the singing of the national anthem, the sounding of the Color Guard will start this inaugural event sharp at 6:30am.

What is the time limit?

4 hour time limit, though at 3 and a half hours all runners/walkers still on the course will be subject to the same laws as pedestrians and must move to the sidewalk.

Will you have porta-potties?

Porta Potties will be made available at the start line, various pre-positioned locations on the course, and again at the finish line.

What is the entry fee?

Entry fee for this event is $55 through December 31, the event will increase thereafter, please see the registration page for those increments.

Will you have medical personnel on site?

Each Water Stop has a team of volunteers and an oversight person with a medical bag able to treat most common running related injuries. There will not be medical people at these stops. We have a standby medical response team that can be deployed on to the course if needed. We also have medical personnel at the start and conclusion of the event.

Can I run with a pet?

No pets are allowed on the course.

If I have a scheduling conflict come up or I get injured and cannot run, can I get a free entry into next year or get a refund?

Once registered, we do not give refunds.

Will there be refreshments on the course and after the race?

We will offer water, re-hydration drink, and snacks on the course and at the conclusion of the event.
