PACKET PICKUP

Packet pick up occurs the day before between 10am and 6pm as well as the morning of the event for a limited time. We will be posting the packet pick up location in the month of January so that you can make the appropriate plans.
There will be no packet mailing for this event. All packets can be picked up the day before the event or they can be picked up the morning of the event at a limited packet pick up inside the park. Make sure and arrive on time so that you dont miss the start of the event.

Where is packet pick up?
Packets can be picked up the day before the event (Location forthcoming). There will be no packet mailing for the 2024 event.
What does the packet consist of?
All registrants receive a commemorative race day technical running shirt, plus their bib number, a bib board (safety pin alternative), pair of socks, and a parking pass.
How do I exchange a shirt?
If the shirt has remained inside its plastic bag un-opened, we can give an exchange for another size at packet pick up or after the race if others shirts remain, however if the shirt has been taken out of the sealed packed and placed on the runners skin, we cannot exchange it as it is no longer able to be worn by another individual.
What time does the race start?
Following the playing of taps, and then the singing of the national anthem the event starts sharp at 6:30am.
What is the time limit?
We give all entrants 5 hours to finish the course.
Will you have porta-potties?
Porta Potties will be made available at the start line, and again at the finish line.
Medical personnel on site?
Each Water Stop has a team of volunteers and an oversight person with a medical bag able to treat most common running related injuries. We have a standby medical response team that can be deployed on to the course if needed. We also have medical personnel at the start and conclusion of the event.
Can I run with a pet?
Pets, while allowed in the park, cannot be off a leash while on the course. Pets must be supervised at all times in accordance with the parks rules. This includes picking up their waste. Please adhere to this. Thank you.
Refund Policy if unable to race?
Once registered, we do not give refunds. We can accommodate a transfer to another runner however.
Will there be refreshments?
We will offer water, re-hydration drink, and snacks on the course and at the conclusion of the event.
Course Description
Clearly our most difficult and challenging course yet. We set out to make a route that would be inspiring enough to make most entrants stop and consider all of the risks and rewards associated with this type of terrain and elevation change before clicking through to register. Here you have it. More than a half marathon and plenty of ups and downs. There will be hydration stations along the way as well as plenty of areas to hop in a support vehicle. But we hope you don’t. Training will be your friend. Hill training to be precise. We are excited to host you and make this a memorable event.
Location: Briones Regional Park, Bear Creek Staging Area
HALF MARATHON+ : (13.6 miles) Starts at 0630hrs.
Time Limits: Half Marathon 5 1/2 hrs. Cut off time is noon.
